Hello I am coach Omar,

owner of Level Up Tumbling. 

Sports have been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I played baseball, basketball, and ran track, but soccer was always my primary focus. I competed at a high level for over 15 years, finishing my career as a member of the 1993 and 1994 Temple University soccer team.
After stepping away from soccer, I transitioned into martial arts, dedicating four years to Kung Fu, eight years to Capoeira, and eight years to MMA.

Through Capoeira—a Brazilian martial art that blends acrobatics, fluid movement, and combat—I discovered my passion for tumbling and acrobatics. My time at Rick’s All-American Gymnastics further strengthened that passion and set me on a new path.
For the past 15 years, I have been coaching tumbling, sharing my love for movement, acrobatics, and athletic development with students of all ages.

I began my coaching journey at Rick’s All-American Gymnastics and Tumble Techs Gymnastics, where I spent a decade helping athletes build skills and reach their goals. I then spent two years coaching private lessons at a cheerleading academy before taking the leap to open my own facility, Level Up Tumbling, in July 2023.

In addition to coaching, I worked as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for 14 years, bringing a strong foundation in injury prevention, recovery, and body mechanics to my training approach.

I am passionate about helping athletes build confidence, strength, agility, flexibility, endurance, and skill. At Level Up Tumbling, I am committed to inspiring growth, developing talent, and unlocking each athlete’s full potential.
